Let me tell you about seven problems.
You have most of them. Possibly all of them.
The permission problem, where you scan the room for approval before you charge more, take the trip, or say the thing you already know is true. The justification problem, where every desire requires a litigation process before you're allowed to act on it. The smallness problem, where you release yourself in installments because you got so good at being receivable you forgot how to be.

Here's what you need to understand about all seven: they are not character flaws, they were installed. They were coded into you before you had any say, by a world that benefits enormously from a woman who expects less than she's worth and works harder than she's paid.
The most sophisticated thing about these problems is that they don't feel like oppression. They feel like humility, maturity, and being a “good” person.
